GET PAID TO TRAIN
A Phlebotomist is an essential member of the healthcare team who carries out blood tests and observations such as height and weight for patients. If you’re enthusiastic and would like experience of working face to face with patients, then this could be the right role for you!
North Cumbria Primary Care Alliance are currently looking for committed, friendly people to train as Bank Phlebotomists across Workington and Copeland. We can offer you flexible working hours, full training in the job role, a chance to get work experience within the health system and all of the required qualifications. These roles could also lead to a career within NCPC.
I’m already a qualified phlebotomist looking for casual work, can I apply?
Absolutely! We welcome applications from anyone who feels they’d like to apply.
I’m a student/school leaver looking or work to fit around my studies, is there a chance of weekend working?
Yes, we want to support our patients with flexible appointments and need to work with staff who can help us to achieve that.
I work in healthcare and would like to extend my skills, is this possible?
It is, we encourage professional development, especially if it supports our patients.
Hours: Flexible, Bank
Salary: National Minimum Wage with progression available on completion of training and probation.
Role requirements: 2 GCSEs in Maths or English or equivalent functional skills.
