IMPORTANT NEWS - IMPROVED SYSTEM FOR ORDERING ON LINE!!
The Practice is moving all its patients over to a new system for ordering on line prescriptions. This new system is called Patient Access, and will still be available through this website. Lots of our Patients are using it already!
This service provides you with a full list of all your medication already, and tells you when you last ordered it. The new Patient Access will also enable you to book appointments on line, see your vaccination history, any allergies you may have and eventually enable you to view your medical record and test results on line.
All you need to do is Register via this link here. You will then be sent a password by Rebecca, our Admin Assistant within 24 hours. If you have any problems, you can ring Rebecca directly on 01946 694212 and she can help with your Registration.
You can request your repeat medication by indicating the items you require on the tear-off slip of your prescription, and posting it to us or handing it in at the practice reception. We would politely remind you that we do not accept telephone requests for prescriptions. This policy is to ensure your safety and minimise errors.
If you enclose a stamped self addressed envelope we will post your prescription to you.
Alternatively, you can order your repeat prescription via this website by simply following the link on this page and carrying out the simple registration.
Medication Reviews: Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see either a doctor, or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications. You may not be issued with your full prescription if you are due your review. The doctors need to ensure your tablets are still the best ones for you. Please help us to help you by coming to see the doctor if requested to do so.
The surgery is aware of companies cold calling patients to offer prescription collection services and in some cases suggesting this is with the agreement of the Practice. The Queen Street Medical Practice does not endorse any company cold calling patients and requesting their medication details. Please be very careful about giving your personal and medical details to anyone calling you unless you are happy to do so and have properly identified to whom you are talking. Please ensure you are completely happy with exactly what they are providing (ie ordering on your behalf, without you always knowing, keeping the right hand side of your script, holding your prescription. If you have any concerns please contact us or your local pharmacist to discuss matters further.
Please allow two full working days between requesting and collecting your medication.
